Day 1


Overnight flight to Berlin.

Day 2


Welcome to Berlin! The capital of Germany, one of Europe's most exciting cities. Enjoy a cultural insight experience with fantastic 360° views of the city from the Berlin TV Tower. Marvel at the city's great landmarks during your sightseeing tour with your Local Expert Guide that gives an exciting account of Berlin’s rich and momentous history. Admire the Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden Boulevard, the Reichstag Building and German State Opera House. Tonight, discover Berlin's lively nightlife!

Day 3


In the morning depart from Berlin. Cross the border with Poland. Arrive in Gniezno, a city beautifully located on five hills among lakes, that was the initial capital of Poland. You will admire the town’s many historical objects dating back to Mieszko I, Dabrowka, Boleslaw Chrobry and Saint Adalbert: The Assumption and St. Adalbert's Archcathedral, with the reliques of St. Adalbert (his original Czech and similar Polish name to Wojtiech / Wojciech), a gothic church of St. John the Baptist from mid-14th century, The Archbishopric Museum with precious liturgical vessels, including the chalice of St. Adalbert, chalice of Dobrava (the wife of first polish Duke, buried in Poznan) or the Royal Chalice, gothic parish church of the Holy Trinity from 15th century, gothic-baroque franciscan Assumption and St. Anthony's church with the miraculous icon of Our Lady, the Mistress of Gniezno; besides - the baroque Franciscan Monastery from XVIIIth century, gothic church of St. Michael Archangel from 15th century, the Primate's' Palace. In the evening arrive in Ciechocinek for relaxation and accommodation. Ciechocinek has a unique lowland microclimate and the mineral springs that have been discovered in the area have therapeutic healing properties. Experts have considered the local saline springs to be of extreme value and named the thermal spring No. 14 "a wonder of nature". The therapeutic qualities of these springs are directed toward curing cardiovascular, respiratory, orthopedic, traumatic, rheumatic, nervous system and women's diseases.

Day 4


From Ciechocinek continue to Gidle where you will visit the shrine of our Lady of Gidle. A.D. 1516, just before the first Sunday of May, Jan Czeczek, a farmer from Gidle, ploughed up a small, 9 cm/3.54 in, stone statue of the Blessed Mother with the Child. At first it was kept in the parish church and then in a small chapel built on the place where it was found. This spot became famous for many graces and miraculous signs.

Day 5


Visit Jasna Góra Monastery, Poland's most famous shrine to the Virgin Mary featuring the iconic Black Madonna of Czestochowa. Find out about the history of this very important monastic site which is revered in Poland. Transfer to the picturesque city of Kraków.

Day 6


This morning visit the Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Kraków-Łagiewniki, the chapel where the miraculous image of Merciful Jesus and the tomb of St. Faustina are to be found. Later view the Royal Castle and Cathedral on Wawel Hill. Your walking tour through the Old Town includes a visit to the Cloth Hall and the Mariacki Church.

Day 7


In the morning depart from Kraków. Cross the border with Slovakia. Arrive at Slovak Bethlehem in Rajecka Lesna. The ancient village of Rajecka Lesna known as Frewald before 1948 is located 30 km /18.64 mi south of Zilina at the foot of Klak Mountain. Rajecka Lesna has been pilgrimage place since the 15th century. The very first church of the village was built in the 14th century and the golden statues of the Virgin Mary with the child Jesus were preserved. About 500 meters from the church of Mary's birth, the Calvary of Frewald and the chapel of Lourdes were built from the donations of North American Slovaks. The five springs healing water containing calcium and magnesium spurs from underneath of this chapel. It is said that anybody who comes here in good faith will find health for his body and soul. Continue to Vienna. Cross the border with Austria. Enjoy a leisurely walk in Vienna city centre or as an optional experience visit the Vienna State Opera in the evening and see Das Rheingold/The Rhinegold, the first of the four music dramas that constitute Richard Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen/The Ring of the Nibelung.

Day 8


Travel to Salzburg where spires and domes rise in the shadow of Hohensalzburg Castle, one of the largest medieval fortresses in Europe. Admire the city featured in The Sound of Music. View Mozart's birthplace and family house in the picturesque Getreidegasse, and the Domplatz dominated by Salzburg Cathedral. Continue to Innsbruck. Tonight you might like to enjoy a traditional dinner and Tyrolean folklore show.

Day 9


See the famous Innsbruck Olympic ski-jump before your orientation that includes views of the Wilten Basilica, Golden Roof and the Hofburg Palace. Explore medieval lanes, see the Habsburg palace or simply relax and admire this dazzling city set against a spectacular Alpine backdrop. Follow the Arlberg route. Cross the border with the Principality of Liechtenstein where you stop at its capital Vaduz. Cross the border with Switzerland. Enjoy a scenic drive along Lake Walensee and Zurichsee that brings you to Switzerland's financial capital.

Day 10


Today cross the border to Germany and enjoy the scenic route in Black Forest. Visit one of villages where famous cuckoo clocks are made, later visit one of local breweries for beer tasting. Cross the border to France and arrive in Strasbourg, formal seat of the European Parliament, with culture and architecture blending German and French influences. See the Gothic Cathédrale Notre-Dame that features shows from its astronomical clock and enjoy a sweeping views of the Rhine River from partway up its 142m spire.

Day 11


In the morning drive from France, cross the border with Germany to see Freiburg, a sitting plump at the foot of the Black Forest’s wooded slopes and vineyards, a sunny, cheerful university town, with medieval Altstadt a story-book tableau of gabled town houses, cobblestone lanes and cafe-rimmed plazas. Continue and cross the border with Switzerland. Stop in Bern the capital city of Switzerland en route to Lucerne. Continue to Lucerne. Walk across the 14th century Chapel Bridge. Visit the solemn Lion Monument, commemorating the massacre of Swiss Guards in 1792. Spend the evening shopping in the old town for Swiss souvenirs and chocolates.

Day 12


In the morning travel to Interlaken in the heart of the Swiss Alps between the glassy lakes of Thun and Brienz, at the foot of the famous peaks the Eiger and Jungfrau. Spend time relaxing and enjoy superb views of the peaks of the Bernese Oberland, so beloved of Queen Victoria who often stayed at Interlaken. This afternoon arrive in the lakeside town of Montreux. Visit Queen Studio Experience - Mercury Phoenix Trust. The stunning scenery continues as you travel to Geneva. Enjoy the evening in this scenic city with its dramatic alpine backdrop. See the Reformation Monument, the Old Town, the United Nations Building and the Red Cross headquarters. Take time to relax at one of the quaint Old Town cafés.
